Fundraiser for Eiji was discussed. All boxes for the fundraiser have been sold. A $600 check will be presented to our exchange student, Eiji, for use for his class trip
Alycia spoke about the upcoming shower to benefit VIP. Shower is scheduled for April 30, at Grace Episcopal Church Hall. More details will follow, after meeting with the fundraising committee.
There will be a Rotary District Fundraiser – WB Penguins Hockey game –Feb 25.
Wine Event at Fairgrounds -Sept 23.---We are working on upcoming committees and coming up with a Name for the Event.
Lisa Glover from The Wayne County Arts Alliance spoke about their fundraising efforts to buy a building on Main Street in Honesdale. The club voted and agreed to donate $5,000 to the capital fund for the purchase of the building. A check will be presented at the Social Event next Tuesday, Jan 31. At the Wayne Hotel.
The Rotary sponsored Blood Drive will be March 7, at the Honesdale Armory. Volunteers are needed for this.
A check was presented to Marci Bunting from Billy’s New Hope Farm. Money was raised through our Pet Paw Parade.
A $700 check was presented to the Honesdale Middle School Olympiad Team for the purchase of a computer.
Evening meetings will be held at Two Guys From Italy until further notice.
