Honesdale Rotarian Andy Lane Chapman Installed as District Governor of Rotary District 7410

The Honesdale Rotary Club is proud to celebrate a historic and exciting milestone as our own Andy Lane Chapman was officially installed as District Governor of Rotary District 7410 during the District Banner Exchange held on Sunday at Here and Now in Honesdale.

The special event brought together Rotarians from across northeastern Pennsylvania to mark the beginning of a new Rotary year and recognize incoming district leadership. In addition to Andy’s installation as District Governor, Rob Oldroyd of the Troy Rotary Club was installed as District Governor Elect, and Ty Holmes of the Scranton Rotary Club was installed as District Governor Nominee. Also installed were Assistant Governors Brian Vnuk, Charlie Lang, and Dave Passmore, who will help support Rotary clubs throughout the district.

The Honesdale Rotary Club was honored to host such a meaningful occasion and to witness one of its own assume one of Rotary’s most important leadership roles. The celebration highlighted Rotary’s commitment to service, fellowship, and leadership while bringing together friends and colleagues from throughout District 7410.

Andy Lane Chapman’s Rotary journey has been marked by dedication, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to serving others. Over the years, she has held numerous leadership positions within Rotary, including serving as President of the Honesdale Rotary Club on two separate occasions, Assistant Governor, and District Interact Chair, among many other roles. Her willingness to lead, mentor, and inspire has made a lasting impact not only within our club but throughout the district.

A lifelong resident of Wayne County, Andy lives in Lake Ariel with her husband, Brian, and is the proud mother of two sons, Alex and Jamie. Her strong roots in the community and passion for service have guided her Rotary career and contributed to her success as a leader.

As District Governor, Andy will work with Rotary clubs across District 7410 to strengthen membership, support service projects, develop future leaders, and further Rotary International’s mission of creating positive and lasting change in communities around the world. Her experience, energy, and vision make her exceptionally well-prepared for this role.

Members of the Honesdale Rotary Club are especially proud to see Andy recognized for her years of service and leadership. Her installation reflects not only her personal commitment to Rotary’s ideals but also the strength and dedication of the Honesdale Rotary Club itself.
