The Honesdale Rotary Club and Bold Gold Media sponsored The American Red Cross Luck of the Draw Blood drive on March 7. A total of 116 pints of blood was collected, surpassing the goal of 98 pints of blood. These 116 pints will help save 348 lives! Blood drives, such as this annual event help to maintain a stable blood supply for our community and surrounding communities. The Honesdale Rotary Club thanks everyone who gave their time to help make this event such a success. A special thank you to the Interact Club and National Honor Society members, Pooja Patel, Gillian Goldstein and Elecktra Kehagias who helped out all afternoon serving drinks and snacks to the many blood donors who came out to give the gift of life!
